Bronx Mowgli will grow up to just like his parents Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz, Disney star Selena Gomez tells Usmagazine.com.
"They’re going to have the cutest punk rock kid ever!" Gomez, 16, said at the CNN Heroes event at L.A.’s Kodak Theatre Saturday.
Added Gomez: "He’s going to be so well dressed."
(Pete designs unisex clothes for Clandestine Industries, while Ashlee has a T-shirt line at Wet Seal.)
Bronx was born Nov. 20, and weighed in at 7 lbs., 11 oz., a rep for the couple confirmed to Us. Aunt Jessica called the newborn "beyond precious.
"Ashlee and Pete are healthy, happy and enjoying every moment," Jessica told Us Friday in a statement.
So why did the Wentzs go with the name Bronx Mowgli?
"Obviously they’re into Disney big time!" Linda Rosenkrantz, co-author of The Baby Name Bible (and online baby guide Nameberry.com) told Us.
(Mowgli is the 10-year-old boy brought up by wolves in the Jungle Book.)
"Just weeks ago, the mother-to-be was given a Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower," Rosenkrantz pointed out. "Prior to that, the couple were married in an Alice in Wonderland-themed ceremony."
