Zac Efron has become one of the biggest hearthrobs in the world, due to his roles in the High School Musical franchise and, admit it, by being incredibly handsome!

Where did this grounded, hunky actor get his start in showbiz? In the beginning of this decade, the 21-year-old began appearing on random TV shows, like ER, CSI: Miami, and The Replacements. Then, in 2004, he was cast in two films, the Lifetime original movie Miracle Run and the feature film The Derby Stallion.

Casting agents were blown away by Zac’s irresistible on-stage appeal, and the rest is history. Now that his obligations to HSM are wrapping up, next up is the highly anticipated movie 17 Again, in which he will be transformed back into his 17-year old self.

That’s not all! Zac recently filmed the movie Me and Orson Welles, based on the novel of the same title. The film, which will be released this coming year, follows a man cast as the lead in Orson Welles’ play Julius Caeser. Hand it to Zac to make Shakespeare sexy again!
